Student Right and Obligation

1. Student Right

Padjadjaran University students are entitled to:

  1. Get the best education, teaching, and guidance according to the talents, interests, and abilities of the students concerned;
  2. To receive direction and guidance in studying science, knowledge, technology, and art in accordance with scientific and ethical principles as well as applicable legal norms;
  3. Obtaining appropriate services in administration, scientific/reasoning development, talents, interests, and abilities, which are related to the study program they are participating in;
  4. Obtain academic freedom, especially the freedom to demand and study science in accordance with scientific norms, moral norms, and applicable ethical norms;
  5. Gaining freedom from the pulpit in expressing his thoughts and opinions in academic forums;
  6. Become a member of Student Organizations/Institutions within Unpad, and carry out activities in accordance with applicable regulations;
  7. Obtaining awards for achievements achieved in accordance with applicable regulations;
  8. Obtaining special services in the academic field within the limits of Unpad’s ability, for students with physical disabilities;
  9. Obtain welfare services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations;
  10. Utilize existing facilities and infrastructure within Unpad to facilitate the implementation of intracurricular and extracurricular activities.

2. Student Obligation

Padjadjaran University students are obliged to:

  1. Comply with all laws and regulations that apply within Unpad;
  2. Maintain the authority, dignity, and good name of Unpad both inside and outside the campus and maintain the integrity of Unpad as its almamate;
  3. Respect and appreciate science, technology, literature. arts, regional culture, and national culture;
  4. To develop an academic community and to behave politely in accordance with applicable manners;
  5. Respect the academic community and education staff;
  6. Upholding academic freedom, namely maintaining and advancing science, technology, and art through responsible study, research, discussion or dissemination in accordance with scientific aspirations based on scientific principles;
  7. Adjusting and implementing Unpad’s vision, mission and goals in forming and/or conducting activities in Student Organizations/Institutions within Unpad;
  8. Participate in maintaining and guarding Unpad facilities and infrastructure as well as cleanliness, tidiness of the environment, and its integrity;
  9. Take an active role in maintaining campus security and order.
