data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Master of Applied Statistics Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran, was established based on the Directorate General of Higher Education Decree No. 117\/D\/T\/2007 dated January 18, 2007, with an operational extension granted by the Rector&#8217;s Decree No. 6626\/D\/T\/K-N\/2011. This program is managed by the Department of Statistics under the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. It aims to produce graduates capable of addressing various statistical challenges, particularly in developing methodologies for data processing and analysis using non-standard statistical approaches. This initiative responds to the challenges of globalization and advancements in science and technology, where data and information have become strategic resources.<\/p><p>The curriculum is designed to train students intensively through both theoretical and practical problem-solving concepts, encompassing areas such as social statistics, business and industrial statistics, actuarial statistics, and biomedical statistics. The program&#8217;s activities are directed towards achieving its vision, mission, goals, and objectives, which are formulated based on and derived from those of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and aligned with Universitas Padjadjaran&#8217;s vision and mission.<\/p><p>The first Head of the Master of Applied Statistics Program was Dr. Septiadi Padmadisastra, who served from 2007 until his succession by Dr. Lienda Noviyanti, M.S., who held the position until 2015. Subsequently, Yudhie Andriyana, Ph.D., led the program until 2022. For the 2022-2027 period, Dr. I Gede Nyoman Mindra Jaya, M.Si., has assumed the role. Initially, in February 2007, the program implemented a curriculum developed in 2006, which was in effect for approximately 15 years until the Even Semester of 2021\/2022. Between October and December 2022, the curriculum underwent reconstruction based on:<\/p><ol><li>Changes in course codes.<\/li><li>Recommendations from LAMSAMA Assessors.<\/li><li>Results from tracer studies.<\/li><\/ol><p>Further evaluation and curriculum reconstruction were conducted at the beginning of the Even Semester 2022\/2023, with implementation starting in the 2023\/2024 academic year. This process involved various stakeholders, including benchmarking with other master&#8217;s programs in statistics across Indonesia, adhering to the minimum curriculum standards set by the Forum Pendidikan Tinggi Statistika (FORSTAT), addressing industry and institutional needs regarding graduate competencies, conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with alumni and students, and analyzing tracer study outcomes.<\/p><p>Currently, the curriculum is based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), aiming to equip graduates with superior competencies in five main areas:<\/p><ol><li>Business and This program is managed by the Department of Statistics under the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. It aims to produce graduates capable of addressing various statistical challenges, particularly in developing methodologies for data processing and analysis using non-standard statistical approaches. This initiative responds to the challenges of globalization and advancements in science and technology, where data and information have become strategic resources. The curriculum is designed to train students intensively through both theoretical and practical problem-solving concepts, encompassing areas such as social statistics, business and industrial statistics, actuarial statistics, and biomedical statistics. The program&#8217;s activities are directed towards achieving its vision, mission, goals, and objectives, which are formulated based on and derived from those of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and aligned with Universitas Padjadjaran&#8217;s vision and mission. The first Head of the Master of Applied Statistics Program was Dr. Septiadi Padmadisastra, who served from 2007 until his succession by Dr. Lienda Noviyanti, M.S., who held the position until 2015. Subsequently, Yudhie Andriyana, Ph.D., led the program until 2022. For the 2022-2027 period, Dr. I Gede Nyoman Mindra Jaya, M.Si., has assumed the role. Initially, in February 2007, the program implemented a curriculum developed in 2006, which was in effect for approximately 15 years until the Even Semester of 2021\/2022. Between October and December 2022, the curriculum underwent reconstruction based on: Changes in course codes. Recommendations from LAMSAMA Assessors. Results from tracer studies. Further evaluation and curriculum reconstruction were conducted at the beginning of the Even Semester 2022\/2023, with implementation starting in the 2023\/2024 academic year. This process involved various stakeholders, including benchmarking with other master&#8217;s programs in statistics across Indonesia, adhering to the minimum curriculum standards set by the Forum Pendidikan Tinggi Statistika (FORSTAT), addressing industry and institutional needs regarding graduate competencies, conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with alumni and students, and analyzing tracer study outcomes.
